Job Title Senior Editor, Content & Programming, MyRecipes Job Description The Senior Editor, Content & Programming is responsible for executing MyRecipes' content strategy through the curation and programming of recipe collections and editorial content that drive engagement, saves, and repeat usage. This role serves as the operational lead for content-owning the content calendar, developing user-facing experiences, and ensuring alignment across social, lifecycle, and cross-brand distribution. The focus is on turning MyRecipes into a habit-forming product by delivering useful, relevant, and well-packaged content to users. Hybrid 3x a week- (New York) In-office Expectations: This position is hybrid in-office, with the ability to work remotely for up to 2 days per week. About The Positions Contributions: Weight %: Accountabilities, Actions and Expected Measurable Results 30%: Plan and execute MyRecipes' content strategy across owned and managed channels in support of the broader organic growth strategy. Write and assign/edit content for organic channels and paid subscriber offerings. 30%: Use data and audience insights to develop a content lineup that drives saves, engagement, and repeat visits. Own Featured Collections end-to-end, from planning through curation-leveraging recipes from across People Inc brands to create cohesive, user-focused experiences. Manage the content calendar and partner with Social and Lifecycle teams to ensure alignment with channel needs and clear promotional support for both acquisition and engagement. Develop educational guides and storytelling content that deepen engagement and support user needs. 20%: Collaborate closely with the Social Director to ideate and develop content extensions from creator partnerships. Support cross-channel execution by contributing to social posting and writing/editing lifecycle email content as needed. Collaborate with editorial teams across People Inc brands to source content, tap into brand talent and experts, and drive cross-brand opportunities 20%: Partner with Growth (paid) to align on messaging and support copy needs across channels. Execute content for paid subscriber offerings and sponsored campaigns. Apply performance insights to continuously refine content strategy and improve results. Support a collaborative, creative, and performance-driven culture. The Role's Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements: Education: Bachelor's degree, preferably in journalism or communications, or equivalent training and/or experience.
