About the role

The Senior Analytical Scientist is responsible for providing analytical and stability technical support for innovations in consumer healthcare product development, executing analytical chemistry strategies, leading new method development, and solving complex problems across the Haleon network. Proficient in HPLC, GC, and established detection technologies, the position requires continuous growth in analytical knowledge and close collaboration with R&D, Quality, Supply Chain, and Regulatory teams. This role is recognized as a scientific and technical leader who interfaces with internal and external partners such as I&D, Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, and Regulatory-is essential. Acts as analytical lead of innovation projects and develops fit-for-purpose analytical strategies as per regulatory pathway. Applies technical and functional knowledge to design experiments, assist in project design, and independently completes tasks. Acts as a scientific resource within the analytical team. Creates innovative methodologies. Assists in the development of novel approaches to solve moderately difficult problems. Leads or participates in due diligence, new business opportunities and product assessments as required. Produces effective presentations and possesses writing skills to tailor messages to a variety of audiences as appropriate (e.g. external, commercial, management, scientific). Successfully perfoms and directs method validation / transfer activities without supervision. Consistently recognizes atypical data including chromatography and intermediate results and resolves the issues. Capable of troubleshooting difficult instrumentation issues. Establishes and monitors developmental stability programs to assess viability of dosage forms. Performs job responsibilities in compliance with cGMP and all other regulatory agency requirements, where applicable. Lead analytical lab management (ex. Lab ecosystems, Equipments, Reference Standards and Samples etc.) and act as the interface of internal/external audit. Liaise with R&D EHS lead to develop, conduct and evaluate EHS training and provide coaching on EHS risks and programs. Ensure key EHS risks are effectively managed and, where appropriate, escalated to senior management. Qualifications and skills Essential Ph.D. with at least 7 years of relevant experience in analytical chemistry or MS with at least 10 years of relevant experience in analytical chemistry .
