Electrical Draftsperson

About the role

We're looking for an experienced Electrical Draftsperson to join our team at Energy Drive Projects in Mahogany Ridge, Pinetown. As an Electrical Draftsperson, you'll play a key role in creating detailed electrical drawings, schematics, and diagrams for our projects. Reporting to the Engineering & Projects Manager. Key Responsibilities: Create detailed technical drawings, schematics, and layout diagrams for electrical panels based on specifications and requirements. Investigate and create Single Line Diagrams used to model fault level, load usage and coordination. Collaborate with engineers and other team members to develop and refine electrical designs. Ensure all drawings and plans are accurate, complete, and adhere to industry standards and regulations Utilize EPLAN/AutoCAD software to create detailed electrical drawing packs Review and revise drawings as necessary to incorporate feedback, changes, and updates throughout the project lifecycle Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical drafting. Proficiency in EPlan/AutoCAD software. Strong understanding of electrical design principles and standards.
