As a Mainframe Production Support SME you will be on the technical frontline - performing batch operations as per service agreements, analyzing first-level issues across systems, and resolving/routing issues as appropriate. Requirements

• Required Technical & Professional Expertise
• A minimum of 13+ years of strong hands-on experience in Mainframe z/OS production support environments.
• Proven expertise in Writing/modifying ISPF panels, CLISTs, and messages ,Developing and executing JCL (Job Control Language) ,Working with TSO utilities
• Experience in Change Management tools and lifecycle processes (preferably ChangeMan/Micro Focus Serena).
• Ability to Approve/reject change requests based on defined governance rules ,Update and manage change records end-to-end
• Experience in batch job monitoring and scheduling:
• Verifying batch job completion for code promotion
• Scheduling additional jobs using enterprise scheduling tools
• Validating job execution results
• Knowledge of DASD space management.
• Experience interfacing with mainframe security tools RACF / ACF2 / Top Secret
• Understanding of Global & Local Administration functionality.
• Hands-on experience with Product customization and version upgrades, Testing new releases, including Hotfixes & Patches
• Experience in ChangeMan processes across multiple technologies COBOL, Assembler, Easytrieve, etc.
• Working knowledge of DB2 binds,Scheduling software tools
• Strong understanding of Change Management rules and approval workflows.
• Ability to Verify production deployments and ensure successful promotion cycles
• Maintain and update user documentation and operational guides
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with Clients/business stakeholders, Vendor support teams (e.g., Micro Focus/Serena)
• Experience supporting multiple accounts/projects simultaneously.
• Willingness to support 24x7 on-call rotations.
• Demonstrated ability to automate manual operational processes.
• Preferred skills and experience
• Experience in Writing/modifying REXX programs, Writing/modifying COBOL programs
• Exposure to Assembler coding/modifications (e.g., exits).
• Experience with ASG JobScan
• Advanced experience in Complex ChangeMan implementations and release management, Automation frameworks within mainframe environments
• Prior experience in large-scale enterprise / managed services environments.
• Strong familiarity with multi-client delivery models and SLA-driven environments.
