About the role
As a Recovery Worker , you will walk alongside participants as they identify their strengths, aspirations and goals. You will provide practical, hands-on support that assists people to build confidence, develop self-management skills and connect with their communities. - About You
- You will be passionate about supporting people experiencing mental health challenges and committed to person-led, recovery-focused practice.
- Provide practical, strengths-based support tailored to individual goals and needs and facilitate programs and promote hope, recovery and self-determination. You will work collaboratively with participants, families, communities and partner services.
- You will also need:
- Completion of the Certificate 4 in Mental Health, Certificate 4 in Mental Health, Peer Work or Certificate 4 in Community Services, or be enrolled in and actively working toward completing one of these qualifications
- 100 points of identification
- Evidence of right to work in Australia
- Drivers Licence
- National Police Check
- International Police (if required)
- Working with Children Check and NDIS Workers Screening Check
