AI Intern

About the role

RTW Investments is looking for a part-time AI intern to support our HR team in building and scaling AI-powered tools and workflows. This is a hands-on role for someone who is genuinely excited about applying AI to solve real operational problems. You'll work directly with the HR team to design, prototype, and iterate on solutions that improve how we recruit, onboard, and support our people. The work is varied and fast-moving, and you'll have the opportunity to see your projects make a real impact. This is a part-time, fully remote role. Hours are flexible with some availability expected during core NYC business hours for check-ins and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Support the identification and documentation of AI use cases across HR and people operations
• Help automate recurring workflows to reduce manual effort and improve consistency
• Assist in building or prototyping tools that improve how we organize and use HR and recruiting data
• Work with sensitive data in a professional and compliant manner, following established data privacy guidelines
• Collaborate with HR team members to test, iterate, and refine solutions
• Qualifications and Skills
• Familiarity with AI/LLM tools and how to apply them to practical problems
• Basic comfort working with data, APIs, or automation tools
• Ability to work independently and communicate clearly
• Discretion and good judgment when handling confidential information
• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a program in computer science, data science, or a related field
• The duties and responsibilities described are not a comprehensive list and additional tasks may be assigned to the employee from time to time.
