Responsibilities

  • Work on assigned support tickets related to network connectivity, configuration issues, and general troubleshooting.
  • Follow guidance from Network Administrator-II and Network Engineers to assist with network maintenance and upgrades.

Requirements

  • Education: Associate's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, or 1+ years of equivalent experience.
  • Basic knowledge of networking concepts, including IP addressing, subnetting, and VLANs.
  • Understanding of Routing, Switching, Wireless, Firewalls, IP Addressing, DHCP, DNS.
  • Experience with physical deployment of networking hardware, including racking, stacking, and cable management.
  • Familiarity with network monitoring tools is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn new technologies.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Reliable transportation for occasional travel within the assigned area.
  • Certification: CompTIA Network+ or CCNA (preferred but not required).

  • Assigned Work Hours:
  • Full time, (On-site) Monday -Friday, 8:00 a.m. -4:30 p.m. - On-call and live with-in 45 minutes of Monterey
  • Position Type:
  • Regular
  • Pay Range (based on years of applicable experience):
  • $39.54 to
  • $52.89
  • The hours employees work determine when a shift differential is paid.
  • Hourly Evening Shift Differential: $3.05
  • Hourly Night Shift Differential: $4.58
