Responsibilities

  • Perform work as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with Lithia and manufacturer standards
  • Diagnose and repair vehicle concerns across mechanical and electrical systems
  • Complete repairs including engine, drivability, brakes, suspension, HVAC, and electrical systems based on skill level
  • Road-test vehicles to ensure quality of repair work and customer safety
  • Accurately document repairs, test procedures, and time using company systems

  • Required Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
  • Automotive repair experience:
  • Class B: 3-5 years
  • Class A / Master: 5+ years
  • ASE certifications required:
  • Class B: Minimum of 3 ASE certifications
  • Class A: 6+ ASE certifications or ASE Master Technician status
  • Ability to diagnose and repair vehicle issues with minimal to no supervision (based on level)
  • Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills
  • Must provide own tools
  • Ability to meet productivity and efficiency standards

Requirements

  • Subaru or import experience
  • Manufacturer certifications
  • Experience with drivability and advanced diagnostics
  • ASE Master Technician certification (or actively working toward it)
