Manufacturing Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and validation of manufacturing processes for custom-engineered products in a ETO environment and standard items in a CTO environment
• Collaborate with design engineering to review and influence products designs for manufacturability (DFM) and cost efficiency.
• Develop manufacturing process documentation, including work instructions (or visual aids), routings, PFMEA, etc.
• Develop and implement jigs, fixtures, and specialized tooling to improve quality, safety, efficiency and productivity.
• Support new product introductions (NPI's) and ensure smooth transition from engineering design to manufacturing floor.
• Identify and guide process improvements to reduce lead times, minimize waste, and optimize resources.
• Provide technical support to production teams, troubleshooting process issues, and implementing corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
• Support root cause analysis and problem solving for non-conformities and process deviations.
• The Essentials - You Will Have
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering.
• The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, process design, core tools and other process improvements methodologies.
• Proficient in CAD software, ERP systems, and manufacturing data analysis tools.
• Excellent problem-solving, project management, and communication skills.
• Familiarity with quality tools such as PFMEA, SPC, and root cause analysis.
• Familiarity with ISO/AS standard compliance requirements & industry 4.0 technologies.
