- Hands-on experience designing and implementing enterprise data governance programs including data cataloguing, data lineage, data contracts, metadata management and data quality frameworks such as Great Expectations
- Expert understanding of the intersection of data engineering and AI / ML including feature stores, embedding pipelines, vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, pgvector), graph databases (Neo4j) and model data versioning

This Director will own the strategic direction of data assets, architecture, governance and capability building that underpin the firm's AI product portfolio and consulting analytics services, spanning high-value use cases including commercial and financial due diligence (CDD / FDD), value creation tracking, working capital optimization, restructuring scenario analysis, portfolio company performance benchmarking and management information system (MIS) intelligence layers. This Director will report to the India Delivery Leader and partnering closely with U.S.-based leaders, to lead a team of Vice Presidents and Senior Associates across data engineering, analytics engineering and data governance. The Director will manage hiring, vendor partnerships and capability development across the function. This person will influence how data is collected, structured, governed and commercialized across the Portage Point global consulting practice and represent the firm externally as a subject matter expert on deal advisory / portfolio management data strategy.
