• Possession of a valid driver's license and ability to meet Company driving standards. Stationary Engineers License is preferred for experienced candidates.

• While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to climb stairs, ladders, and work on elevated platforms. Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Must be able to lift 45 pounds overhead and 50 pounds from the floor to 36 inches.
• Must be willing to travel to other facilities if needed.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color distinction with vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
• Must be able to work around high voltage.
• Must have manual dexterity and ability to manipulate keyboards.

Primary Purpose & Summary : Talen Energy is looking for candidates to fill openings for Plant Technician-Operations . This position would be located at the Talen Energy H.A. Wagner facility in Baltimore, MD (Pasadena area). We are looking for qualified candidates with a minimum of having vocational training and/or mechanical experience and prefer candidates with five (5) years' power plant experience. The position reports to the Shift Supervisor. The expected salary range for this position is $70,000.00 to $90,000.00 annually. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience and other job-related factors as permitted by law. Successful candidates will also participate in Talen Energy's Short-Term Incentive program.
