Heavy Duty Mechanic

Requirements

• Journeyperson Heavy Duty Mechanic Certification
• Candidates must have proven experience servicing, diagnosing, and repairing high‑amperage electrical equipment such as generators and submersible pumps within a rental fleet environment
• Note:
• Due to physical nature of the work, a requirement of the job is to be considered fit for work.
• Capable of working evening, night shifts as well as performing after hours service calls, weekends inclusive
• Union Membership: You are required to become a member of the Union associated with this position. This will be effective immediately and will result in union dues being deducted from your pay. The terms and conditions of your employment will be governed by the collective agreement.

Company: Number of Openings: 1 Worker Type: Permanent Position Overview: The Journeyperson Mechanic is responsible for the service tasks on product line ranging from construction tools, small engine equipment such as compaction equipment, pumps to compact construction equipment (e.g. Mini excavators and skid steers,) and Aerial Work Platform equipment. Location: Lloydminster, Alberta Schedule: Monday to Friday, will also include on-call shifts Wage: $43.92 - $48.82/hour Job Description: Performs quality repairs to TCRS fleet of equipment Solves problems from diagnosis to correction Co-ordinates product repairs Interfaces with customers in the field on service calls in a courteous, business-like manner
