As a Cybersecurity Senior Analyst Engineer , you manage and respond to security incidents within the organization, ensuring the protection of applications and networks through vigilant monitoring of security platforms. You evaluate, develop, and implement effective information security strategies and tools to minimize damage, ensure rapid recovery, and maintain operational efficiency. You analyze security events, conduct assessments, and identify potential breaches or suspicious activities. You implement operational processes and security technologies, leveraging your understanding of Schneider Electric's technical context to establish optimal incident response scenarios. Your expertise in information security is vital in collaborating with internal teams to mitigate risks and prevent future incidents. You lead the development of preventive measures based on lessons learned from cyber incidents and identify trends in security incident detection and evolving regulatory requirements. You also prepare and conduct cyber crisis simulations to enhance the organization's readiness for efficient incident management. As an individual contributor with specialized knowledge in cybersecurity, you focus on delivering technical processes and policies using your expertise. You apply a broader technical understanding to achieve results that directly impact your job area. You make decisions regarding your work and priorities, often guided by precedent and documented procedures with some flexibility for interpretation. Additionally, you are responsible for guiding lower career levels on non-routine issues, with your work being reviewed for accuracy and quality. What will you do: Ensure effective coordination during incidents across SOC, IT, legal, communications, and business teams to enable rapid, controlled response. Conduct AI risk assessments according to the DCR AI Cybersecurity framework. Lead the end-to-end vulnerability management lifecycle, including identification, risk-based prioritization, remediation tracking, and executive reporting. Define and maintain vulnerability management and incident response frameworks aligned with industry standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001). Oversee security monitoring and detection capabilities to ensure timely identification of security incidents and emerging threats. Drive root cause analysis and post-incident reviews, ensuring lessons learned are translated into durable security improvements. Partner with infrastructure, application, and cloud teams to embed security controls by design and reduce systemic risk. Ensure accurate vulnerability and incident metrics are produced, monitored, and communicated to stakeholders. Stay ahead of the threat landscape by tracking vulnerabilities, exploits, and attack techniques relevant to the organization. Mentor and guide security analysts, contributing to capability development and operational excellence.
