About the role

This role is responsible for developing strategic partnerships, expanding market presence, driving revenue performance, and strengthening relationships with luxury travel advisors, consortia partners, tour operators, and key leisure accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Luxury Consortia Management:
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with luxury consortia partners and preferred travel advisor networks.
  • Negotiate annual agreements, preferred partnerships, and joint marketing initiatives.

  • Execute sales activations, advisor engagement programs, and promotional initiatives to drive business growth.
  • Monitor production performance and identify opportunities to increase market share within the luxury travel segment.
  • Leisure & Tour Operator Sales:
  • Manage relationships with tour operators, wholesalers, destination management companies (DMCs), and retail travel agencies.
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities within domestic and international leisure markets.
  • Negotiate and manage leisure group series, contracted allotments, and seasonal programs.
  • Develop and implement tactical promotions, travel packages, and partnership campaigns.
  • Conduct sales presentations, workshops, training sessions, and product updates for travel partners.
  • Revenue Generation & Business Development:
  • Achieve and exceed revenue, room night, and market share objectives.
  • Develop annual sales plans, account strategies, and business development initiatives.
  • Analyze market trends, booking pace, production reports, and competitive intelligence.
  • Monitor account performance and implement action plans to maximize revenue opportunities.
  • Identify emerging travel trends and proactively pursue new market segments.
  • Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with key travel advisors, agency owners, tour operators, and industry stakeholders.
  • Organize familiarization trips (FAM trips), site inspections, networking events, and client engagement activities.
  • Represent the organization at trade shows, roadshows, sales missions, industry exhibitions, and networking events.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to key accounts and partners to drive long-term business growth.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Collaborate closely with Revenue Management, Marketing, Reservations, and Operations teams to ensure alignment of commercial strategies.
  • Support promotional campaigns, partner communications, and digital marketing initiatives.
  • Ensure smooth execution of contracted business and deliver exceptional guest experiences.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to identify opportunities for business growth and operational excellence.
  • Reporting & Administration:
  • Maintain accurate account information, sales activities, pipeline management, and forecasting within CRM systems.
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales reports, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Track and evaluate ROI on consortia partnerships, travel campaigns, trade shows, and marketing initiatives.
  • Ensure timely reporting and adherence to organizational sales processes and standards.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in hotel sales, leisure sales, luxury travel, consortia management, or tour & travel sales.
  • Proven track record in revenue generation, account management, and business development within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong understanding of luxury travel distribution channels and consortia networks.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, communication, and relationship management skills.
  • Strong analytical and commercial acumen with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
  • Proficiency in CRM and hotel sales systems such as Delphi, Salesforce, OnQ, or equivalent platforms.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and results-driven with strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
