Responsibilities

  • Support due diligence and integration efforts for BD/RIA partner mergers and acquisitions, with a focus on insurance books of business
  • Analyze existing advisor distribution models (BD, IMO, hybrid, etc.) and determine path for transition

  • Provide guidance to BD/RIA partners on transition impacts and required actions
  • Required Experience & Expertise
  • Insurance Distribution Knowledge
  • Deep understanding of BD-direct vs. IMO vs. hybrid distribution models
  • Experience with how distribution structure impacts:
  • Contracts and appointments
  • Commissions
  • Product access and carrier alignment
  • DTCC feeds and data
  • Carrier & Servicing Knowledge
  • Strong familiarity with insurance carrier servicing rules
  • Experience handling:
  • Book of business transfers
  • Agent-of-record changes
  • Policy ownership and servicing rights

The national average salary for this role is $60 000.00 - $80 000.00 in base pay and exclusive of any bonuses or benefits.
