Mental Health Technician (overnight)

HealingUS Centers is looking for a reliable and compassionate Overnight Mental Health Technician to join our dedicated team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for providing support and supervision to clients during nighttime hours, ensuring their safety and well-being while facilitating a therapeutic environment. Your presence will help clients cope with their challenges and provide them with the assistance they need during critical hours. Your primary responsibilities will include: - Monitoring clients' behaviors and emotional states, offering support when needed. - Assisting clients with their nighttime routines and ensuring their comfort and safety. - Documenting client interactions and any notable incidents accurately in logs. - Enforcing safety protocols and responding effectively to emergencies. - Providing a calming presence and engaging clients in relaxing activities when appropriate. - High school diploma or equivalent; certifications in mental health or related fields are preferred. - Experience working in a mental health or healthcare setting is highly desirable. - Strong observational and communication skills. - A caring, empathetic approach to interacting with clients. - Ability to work independently and remain vigilant during overnight hours. 401k, pto, sick time, vacation time
