About the role
Provides clinical and clerical support relating to the Outpatient Rehabilitation department's activities and daily operations. Serves as the primary technician performing diverse duties to provide support to the functions of the rehabilitation service line. Cross-trained and occasionally works as an office receptionist/secretary. Trained to assist in rehabilitation treatments under the direct assistance of a PT/PTA, OTR/COTA, and/or SLP. Order and stock therapy supplies, maintaining an organized therapy environment Keep environment clean and safe to assist keeping our Patients and team members safe and infection control. Prepare treatment areas, and equipment for smooth work flow processes Perform clerical duties such as patient scheduling, intake form completion, scanning/faxing therapy paperwork and communication with patients and family Coordinate with the medical team to assist in special projects or assist with patient care. Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations Participates in training of new team members as needed.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent. CPR Certification. Excellent customer services skills. Ability to multi task in a fast paced environment. Positive and motivating Team member. Previous tech experience preferred.
