We are looking for a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDeT) within The Economist Group . The successful candidate will support the team in: test automation testing standards quality standards Accountabilities: How you will contribute You will be responsible for supporting all test automation activities You will collaborate with your stakeholders to ensure test automation is executed as per the strategy You will support monitoring test coverage of all test automation activities You will collaborate with stakeholders to help define functional and non-functional test requirements You will help define ways to improve testing to continue to enable a shift left approach Experience, Skills & Professional Attributes The ideal skills for this role include You have a solid understanding of the test pyramid You have experience in test automation for different types of tests You have programming experience for use in test automation frameworks You have basic experience with integrating tests into CI/CD You have basic experience of the pros and cons of what tests to run and where in CI/CD You have basic experience in using tools to report test results You are a great communicator Working Arrangements The majority of our roles operate on a hybrid working pattern, with 3+ days office attendance required.
