About the role
New Century Education is looking for an experienced Procurement and Contracting Specialist to join our rapidly growing business and support us on our journey to become the leading operator of Charter Schools in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain. Working alongside our finance team you will play an integral part in identifying opportunities for cost improvement and efficiency through strategic partnerships and ensuring that our procurement processes are compliant with our private sector and government partners. Education Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; Procurement/Supply Chain preferred. Procurement Certification CIPS desirable. Required Skills and Experience Knowledge of procurement processes, policies and procedures Strong emphasis on accuracy and detail Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously to meet goals and deadlines Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, such as Excel. Hands-on experience in ERP Systems (Microsoft Dynamics & Oracle Fusion) preferred although not essential Excellent time management and organizational skills Previous demonstrable experience of Procurement Systems Management 3 to 5 years' experience in a similar role within a procurement related environment IT Procurement Experience preferred although not essential Good Knowledge of P2P cycle Competitive Tax Free Salary, VISA sponsorship for self spouse and dependant children, Medical cover for self spouse and dependant children, Annual airfare allowance for self spouse and dependant children.
