CNC Operator

About the role

Under minimal supervision, this individual performs the duties of setting up and operating numerically controlled and conventional machine tools within the machining area, producing a variety of diversified finished parts. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Safe Set-up and Operation of CNC equipment with supervision tied to quality, cost and delivery Inspection of parts Operates standalone and secondary processes independently Stand alone equipment is primary job Oversee proper daily maintenance of all assigned equipment Report any product or equipment concerns to appropriate person Maintain proper relationships with co-workers, supervisors, and outside contacts Perform and record in-process inspections as required Perform other duties and assist in other areas as needed JOB REQUIREMENTS Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent. In lieu of diploma, substantial machining experience must be satisfied. 1+ year(s) CNC machining experience preferred.
