As an HRBP Legal and Labour Law Officer you will be responsible for leading our Workers Council committee and other representatives, and will liaise with the Unions. This position reports to the HR France-Belgium-Luxembourg Manager. As a Legal HR Officer you will be responsible for the global employment framework of the Belgium and Luxembourg entities. You will also liaise with the Belgian and Luxembourg administration on a regular basis. You will actively participate in HR projects and communicate with the General Manager on a daily basis. More specifically, you will be in charge of the following tasks: HR Legal: Negotiate with trade unions to conclude agreements on company and sectoral level (Belgium and Luxembourg) Make presentations for the work council, prepare the meetings and discussions Chair the works council and manage employee relations Drive our partnerships with lawyers HR Generalist: Provide advice and support in organizational changes and crisis management Resolve personnel grievances, conduct disciplinary actions and terminations Update policies, processes and practices whilst ensuring compliance with regulations Oversee engagement, wellness and health initiatives (as part of the CPPT) HR Communication: Make sure all stakeholders are updated (local HR, GMs, employees, suppliers) Coach and advice for senior managers and GM on HR strategy, or legal challenges HR Administration: Follow-up on internal processes and reporting Be responsible for the employee legal contract frame Understand the benefits contracts and follow up on administration (new hires/leavers) Secure the administrative and contract aspects of some international moves (inpatriates and expatriates)
Requirements
- Extensive HR experience
- Very good knowledge of local legislation and labour law (work regulations)
- Good communication skills (face to face, on the phone)
- Good language skills (French - Dutch - English)
- Good team player
- Ready to work in a dynamic environment (open space and flex desk)
