Supervisory Program Analyst

About the role

You will serve as a Supervisory Program Analyst (Fleet Improvement Office Director) of IMMEDIATE OFC OF CHIEF OF NVL OPS. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-14) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing the following duties: 1) Utilizing safety management system/risk control system methodologies to identify, assess, and control safety risks, thereby preventing accidents and improving safety culture. 2) Employing effective risk management and risk communication processes in order to increase the Fleet's ability to safely and effectively accomplish the mission while preserving lives and limited resources. 3) Conducting root cause analysis with knowledge of Navy training, global force management, and requirements generation processes to target systemic, cross-community root causes that impact the ability to optimize warfighting lethality and survivability. 4) Applying the principles of Organizational Learning and continuous improvement.
