Job's mission As a Specialist II, Production Planning at ASM, you will support production planning and material coordination to ensure stable manufacturing operations and on-time delivery. This 1-year contract role offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in planning execution within a semiconductor environment while contributing to continuous improvements in data accuracy, planning efficiency, and operational performance. What you will be working on Support weekly and monthly production planning based on demand forecasts and order requirements Monitor production schedule adherence and proactively identify risks such as capacity constraints and material shortages Coordinate with manufacturing, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure smooth production execution Track material availability (CTB: Capable-to-Build) and follow up on shortages Support demand changes and ensure timely updates in planning systems (e.g., SAP) Assist in managing safety stock levels and inventory where applicable Prepare and maintain reports on key performance indicators (e.g., OTIF, schedule adherence, material availability) Analyze planning and supply chain data to identify gaps and improvement opportunities Maintain data accuracy and consistency across planning systems Participate in continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., planning accuracy, lead time reduction) Support process standardization and documentation
