Senior QA Engineer - Discovery platform

About the role

We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer to join our Discovery Platform team. Our platform models large-scale, real-world enterprise networks. Customers rely on its outputs for operational and security-critical decisions. That means backend reliability, deterministic behavior, and safe releases are essential. The Discovery Platform is a core part of IP Fabric with major impact on its business. As a Senior Quality Engineer you engineer quality into complex backend systems. You take ownership, improve quality of the team's area of responsibility and engage in the whole development cycle.

Responsibilities

• Closely collaborate with developers to deliver features & fixes in quality
• Bring quality mindset to the whole development cycle from planning to release
• Improve the way we work
• Define and monitor quality metrics
• Write automated tests and participate in manual testing
• Maintain CI/CD infrastructure

Requirements

• Programming experience (JavaScript/TypeScript)
• Back-end test automation expertise (unit tests, integration tests, API testing, mocking)
• Linux & Shell
• Basic SQL knowledge
• Exposure to AI-assisted development workflows
• End-to-end testing expertise, Playwright
• Python
• Networking or Network Engineering knowledge
• Hands-on with containers and virtualization
• Hand-on with CI/CD pipeline
• Tech Stack
• Frontend: React
• Backend: Node.js, TypeScript, Express.js
• QA tooling in Python
• Messaging: RabbitMQ
• Data: PostgreSQL, Redis
• Tooling: GitLab CI, Nx monorepo, esbuild
