About the role
The Office of General Counsel (OGC) provides legal services and guidance to all components of the USMS in matters that arise in the conduct of USMS missions pursuant to 28 USC § 566, and as delegated by the Attorney General. Applicants must possess a J.D. degree (or equivalent), be an active member of the bar in good standing (any U.S. jurisdiction) and have at least five (5) years post-J.D. relevant experience. Proficiency in computer-aided legal research and computer word processing is required.
