Assistant Machine Operator

Requirements

• Previous manufacturing experience preferred
• Knowledgeable and able to understand a computer and programs
• Possess adequate math, measurement, and reading skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must be able to perform visual inspection s including the use of measurement devices and ability to identify and distinguish colors
• Commitment to teamwork, safety, and quality

Start by learning the basics in departments like Clean Room, Coating, Converting, Extrusion, Lamination, Rewind, Slitting, or Press. Through hands-on experience and training programs, you'll have the opportunity to grow into a Machine Operator role and cross-train in multiple areas-building a strong foundation for a successful career at Amcor. Sche dule: 12-hour shifts on a 2-2-3 shift schedule rotating bi-weekly from days to nights 12-hour shifts on 2-2-3 shift schedule straight nights Compensation & Benefits: Value, Recognized We reward great work with: Pay: $2 5 .96 /hour + $1. 2 0/hour night shift premium ( when working night shift) Overtime: 1.5x pay on Sunday and for hours over 40 per week 401(k): Dollar-for-dollar match up to 8% Benefits: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage starting on day one Paid time off and holidays Growth and development opportunities Job Description: Possibility Unpacked What Y ou Will D o: Assist Operator with all aspects of the job Learn to operate the machine and serve as backup operator when operator is away from machine or on vacation Banding return stock, empty cores, headers, start-up rolls, and butt rolls Loading new stock on back of machine and unloading finished rolls Changing and cleaning silicon rolls Adjust slitters and tension for each job Daily and weekly housekeeping All other duties as assigned by supervisor or management What We Want From You: Lead the Pack
