Accounts Intern

Responsibilities

• Assist in processing accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) transactions
• Support month-end closing activities including journal entries and reconciliations
• Help maintain and update project cost tracking schedules
• Perform data entry and filing of financial documents in compliance with company and statutory requirements
• Support preparation of management reports, budgets, and cash flow forecasts
• Liaise with project teams and subcontractors on payment-related queries
• Assist in internal and external audit preparation as required
• Undertake any other ad-hoc finance duties assigned by the Finance Manager

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business or a related field from a recognised institution
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); experience with accounting software (e.g. Xero) is an advantage
• Meticulous, organised and able to handle numerical data accurately
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Able to commit for a minimum of 6 months
