  • The ideal candidate will:
  • Hold a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) or equivalent in Psychiatry.
  • Be fully registered with the GMC with a licence to practise.
  • Have substantial experience managing complex mental health presentations in NHS or equivalent settings.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Possess a thorough understanding of relevant guidelines, legislation, and standards (e.g., NICE, Mental Health Act).
  • Be skilled in psychopharmacology, risk assessment, and evidence-based treatment approaches.
  • Have experience contributing to clinical audits, service development, and training.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Consultant Psychiatrist to join a new nurse-led residential service supporting individuals with complex mental health needs. This is a unique chance to help shape and deliver an innovative service from the ground up. This is a part-time role of 15 hours per week.
