About the role

Advantech is looking for a DMS Supply Chain Specialist. If you enjoy working with different people, managing projects with different models, and willing to challenge unknown risks, we welcome you to join our team. To ensure on-time delivery and fulfillment of project requirements, in this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing various aspects of the supply chain, including providing analysis and suggestion during the NPI stage, as well as handling order fulfillment, project planning, production scheduling, and inventory management after mass production. As a coordinator, you must frequently communicate across departments, collaborate with regional business/SCM teams, or hold meetings with overseas clients to efficiently drive project progress. Responsibilities of the role. 1. Order & Demand Management - Customer orders and forecasts to assess production capacity and delivery feasibility. - Material shortages review, handle rush orders or unexpected issues. 2. Material Planning Suggestions - Analyze the project LT and BOM structure, and provide planning suggestion based on customer requirements and characteristics. - Propose risk buy, alternate sourcing, or expedited procurement plans to ensure fulfillment efficiency. 3. Cross-functional Communication & Project Coordination - Act as the main Fulfillment interface to align with PM, sales, factory, and logistics - Host regular delivery meetings and provide lead time responses and risk evaluations to customers. 4. Operation Management & Process Improvement - Use ERP (e.g. SAP) and MES systems to track order and material status - Inventory management and review project risk.

Requirements

  • Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree or above in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in DMS (ODM) Order Fulfillment
  • Language
  • Mandarin: Native
  • English: Excellent
  • Professional Skills
  • Strong understanding of order management, MRP logic, and material planning strategies
  • Familiarity with BOM analysis and material risk categories (e.g. long lead time, custom, shared)
  • Proficient in ERP systems (SAP, PLM), experience with MES or APS systems is a plus
  • Strong Excel/data analysis skills and PowerPoint creation/ presentation abilities.
