Responsibilities

  • Event Strategy & Lead Generation
  • Develop, execute, and manage event marketing initiatives designed to generate qualified sales leads.
  • Identify, evaluate, negotiate, and secure participation in trade shows, fairs, festivals, home shows, community events, and other promotional opportunities throughout the market.
  • Build and maintain a robust event calendar that maximizes brand exposure and lead generation opportunities.

  • Recruit, hire, onboard, train, and develop a team of Event Marketing Representatives.

  • Conduct ongoing coaching, performance management, and professional development to ensure team success.
  • Manage event staffing schedules to ensure all events are properly supported and positioned for success.
  • Operations & Performance Management
  • Manage event budgets, forecasting, inventory, and resource allocation while maintaining financial accountability.
  • Track, analyze, and report event performance metrics, team productivity, and return on investment.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams to strengthen market presence and drive business growth.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve event performance, customer engagement, and lead conversion.

Requirements

  • Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience in a customer-facing environment.
  • Valid driver's license with a driving record that meets company insurance requirements.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Ability to stand and remain stationary for extended periods during events, up to 6 hours at a time, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Willingness to travel up to 40% throughout the assigned market.
  • Availability to work weekends and evenings as needed to support scheduled events.
  • Associate degree or higher.
  • Experience in event marketing, field marketing, lead generation, direct sales, retail marketing, or related industries.
  • Strong recruiting, coaching, and team development skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and relationship-building abilities.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and reporting tools.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated leader with a passion for driving results and developing people.
