Main responsibilities Analytics & Reporting Leadership Lead the design, development, and continuous improvement of dashboards, reports, and analytical solutions. Establish and promote reporting standards, KPI definitions, and data visualization best practices. Review and quality assure analytical deliverables produced by analysts. Business Analysis & Stakeholder Engagement Partner with business stakeholders to understand objectives, processes, and reporting requirements. Translate business needs into analytical requirements and solution designs. Challenge and refine requirements to ensure alignment with business goals and data capabilities. Facilitate discussions between business users and technical teams. End-to-End Analytics Lifecycle Oversight Maintain a holistic understanding of how data flows from business processes and source systems through integration, modelling, and reporting layers. Understand key source systems, including SAP and other business applications, and how they contribute to analytical outputs. Trace and troubleshoot data issues across the analytics value chain. Collaborate with data engineering and platform teams to ensure analytical requirements are supported by appropriate data foundations. Data Governance & Quality Promote consistent data definitions, business rules, and KPI calculations. Support data quality initiatives and validation processes. Contribute to documentation of data lineage, reporting logic, and analytical assets. Help establish and maintain trusted reporting and information management practices. Coaching & Capability Development Mentor and support junior and mid-level analysts. Share best practices in analytics, business analysis, and reporting development. Promote a culture of continuous learning, analytical thinking, and business understanding. Support the development of analytical capabilities across the organization. Accountabilities Accountable for delivering trusted, timely, and business-relevant Finance reporting and insights. Ensures adherence to data governance, reporting standards, and KPI definitions across Finance analytics. Acts as the subject matter expert for Finance data and analytics, promoting a holistic understanding of the end-to-end data value chain.
Requirements
- What Experience and Skills Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative discipline will be preferrable.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar data analytics or business intelligence role.
- Advanced experience with Tableau or equivalent BI tools.
- Strong Excel, SQL and data analysis skills.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience translating business requirements into analytical solutions.
- Strong understanding of data modelling, reporting, and analytics best practices.
- Proven ability to engage stakeholders and mentor analysts.
- Good understanding of the end-to-end data and analytics lifecycle.
- Desirable
- Familiarity with SAP architecture, data structures and enterprise financial systems is highly desirable.
- Experience with utilizing cloud data platforms and data governance practices.
- Experience with programming languages (e.g., Python) and process automation tools (e.g., Power Automate or similar) to support analytical solutions and business process improvements.
