Shift: 6:00 AM-2:00 PM Hourly Rate: $40.25 an hour + $0.25 shift differential Reporting to the Ammonia Refrigeration Supervisor, you will support the safe and efficient operation of ammonia refrigeration systems and related plant utilities at our Louisville manufacturing facilities. You will help maintain system reliability while also supporting building air balance, wastewater operations, and responding to mechanical room issues across both plants. A Taste of Your Responsibilities Operate, monitor , and maintain ammonia refrigeration systems to ensure safe and efficient plant performance Perform routine inspections, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance on refrigeration equipment Respond to mechanical room alarms, issues, and system disruptions in a timely manner Support building air balance systems to maintain proper airflow and environmental conditions Assist with wastewater system operations, monitoring, and compliance activities across both plants Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and system-related issues to minimize downtime Maintain accurate logs, records, and documentation of system performance and maintenance activities Follow all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements related to ammonia refrigeration and plant utilities Partner with operations, maintenance, and facility teams to support overall plant performance and reliability Participate in continuous improvement efforts related to utilities and facility systems Ingredients Required for Your Success High school diploma or GED Previous experience working with ammonia refrigeration systems in an industrial or manufacturing environment Knowledge of plant utility systems, including refrigeration, air handling, and wastewater systems Experience troubleshooting mechanical and electrical equipment Understanding of safety procedures and regulatory requirements related to ammonia systems Willingness to work in a manufacturing environment and respond to off-shift or emergency situations as needed Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety Physical Requirements More information on the essential tasks and facility will be shared during the hiring process.
