About the role

Our client, a top-tier data center customer, is seeking a Manufacturing lead to join their growing team. This organization specializes in delivering new product introductions for data centers, managing the full end-to-end lifecycle-from initial consultation and design through to engineering, supply chain management, mass production, logistics, and ongoing support.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate production associates to ensure production targets are achieved on time, with good quality and efficiency.
  • Monitor product quality during production and report any production or quality issues promptly to management.
  • Conduct daily team meetings and provide daily production performance reports.
  • Perform assembly operations on complex components, assemblies, and sub-assemblies across multiple production areas.
  • Maintain good housekeeping and 5S standards within the work area to
  • Suggest process improvements and support implementation activities.
  • Support new product and model introductions.
  • Ensure equipment is properly maintained and operating effectively.
  • Train and guide associates on proper production processes and operational skills.
  • Support onboarding and training for new employees and junior team leaders.
  • Act as a role model within the team.
  • Support cross-training activities among different production areas.
  • Monitor attendance and assist supervisors in workforce management.
  • Maintain a good understanding of company processes and procedures.
  • Support probation evaluations and training for new hires.
  • Ensure workplace safety and report any safety concerns or improvement opportunities.
  • Escalate production-related issues promptly and provide possible solutions.
  • Maintain good communication between associates and management.
  • Able to support Shift Work

Requirements

  • Minimum 2-3 years of Team Leader experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or production environment.
  • Good understanding of production monitoring and ISO documentation requirements.
  • Able to investigate production or quality issues and support corrective
  • Good reporting and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to calculate takt time, manpower, and production line balancing requirements.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of manual dexterity and hands-on ability.
  • High school education or above preferred.
  • Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods.
  • Able to perform manual handling tasks when required.
  • Able to life & move heavy large computer equipment
