About the role

LSE is committed to building a diverse, equitable and truly inclusive university Salary from £53,949 to £62,160 pa inclusive with potential to progress to £69,073 pa inclusive of London allowance This is a fixed term appointment for 2 years and is full time commencing 8 September 2026. The Department of Psychological and Behavioural Science (PBS) is a growing community of researchers, intellectuals and students who investigate the human mind and behaviour in a societal context. Our department conducts cutting-edge psychological and behavioural research that is both based in and applied to the real world. The Course Tutor provides teaching on core courses as part of the BSc in Psychological and Behavioural Science. Teaching will involve lectures, class teaching, and working as part of the wider teaching team. The course Tutor will also act as an academic mentor, provide supervision of individual dissertation projects, and works as part of the wider undergraduate programme team. The successful candidate should have experience teaching core areas of psychology, including biological psychology, methods and statistics or a related field at undergraduate level, with evidence of high performance and the ability to teach interdisciplinary students. The role requires a commitment to high quality teaching and fostering a positive learning environment for students, including pastoral care. Experience with programme and/or course management and administration is desirable.
