ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Build and maintain steady connections with business leaders, school districts, nonprofits and community groups to keep Capital Health active in the local area Identify and develop partnership opportunities that align with organizational priorities, strengthen community presence and support strategic growth initiatives Collaborate with organizational leadership and internal departments to align partnership efforts with strategic priorities Serve as a visible and reliable face of the organization at local events, meetings and public initiatives Represent Capital Health through presentations, panel discussions and speaking engagements to share information on health and wellness Work with various groups to design programs that provide real value to the community and clear results for the organization Listen to the needs of local residents and share insights with leadership to ensure resources are used where they are most needed Coordinate and facilitate sponsorships, assist with educational programs (e.g., Capital Healthy Students initiative) and support additional outreach activities focused on growth strategies Act as a bridge between internal teams and outside partners to ensure events and programs run smoothly Track the progress of all partnership activities and share regular updates on how these efforts are helping the community Help gather and share success stories that show the positive impact of local partnerships and programs Perform other duties as assigned MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Education: Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Healthcare Administration or related field. Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a formal degree. Experience: Four years of progressively responsible, directly related experience in community relations, public relations, marketing, partnership development or a related role when accompanied by a Bachelor's degree. Eight years of progressively responsible, directly related experience in community relations, public relations, marketing, partnership development or a related role when accompanied by a high school diploma or equivalent. Significant experience in healthcare or non-profit setting developing strategic community relationships and representing an organization externally is preferred. Knowledge and Skills : Natural ability to build and maintain professional connections with community leaders, local businesses and health organizations. Demonstrated ability to research and understand local community needs and health trends to ensure partnership efforts are purposeful. Proven ability to plan and oversee community meetings, educational events and partnership activities from start to finish.
