A workplace where you can proudly be yourself; our people make Sky and NOW a truly exciting and inclusive place to work. Sky's Anti-Piracy Operation is at the forefront of the fight against Digital Piracy which is one of the biggest challenges facing Britain's creative industries. Here at Sky, we've invested billions of pounds in high-quality entertainment for our customers because we know how much our customers value it. It's therefore important that companies like ours do what we can, alongside the Government and the rest of the media and technology industries, to help protect copyright. Such protection makes sure that consumers continue to benefit from TV programmes, movies, and music both now and in the future. This means taking effective action against online piracy and copyright infringement. We work to attribute Digital Piracy to specific groups or individuals and our aim is to remove the groups who cause significant damage to the creative sector and the wider economy using the right balance between technology, investigations, legal support, and disruption techniques. The investigator's role is to carry out investigations into piracy and disrupt pirate operations in order to protect the content, image, brand, and reputation of Sky. The role will be responsible for efficiently and effectively managing allocated investigations. Investigators are responsible for Piracy investigations, working with internal & external stakeholders as well as supporting and liaison with law enforcement agencies in order to progress criminal cases. The Investigations and Intelligence team is comprised of a mixture of investigators and intelligence analysts reporting into 3 separate managers across the department.
