YOU HAVE: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field. Experience in Application Support & Operations in a 2nd or 3rd line role preferably in an ITIL environment. Good knowledge in UNIX/Linux commands and functions. Experience in a scripting language - Bash, Python, Perl, Ruby, etc. Good knowledge of databases, understands schemas, database structures and ability to write and debug SQL queries. Experience working in cloud infrastructure - Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud or Azure. Experience working with ticketing systems, monitoring solutions and log management/analyzing tools. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, written and oral. Ability to communicate complex, technical issues to non-technical staff. YOU WILL: Provide support to our clients - managing, logging and tracking issues from start to finish. Troubleshoot/resolve application issues/tickets from the client. Contribute to the development of a runbook of operational processes and look for opportunities to automate processes where possible. Establish the root cause of application errors. Perform proactive monitoring of our clients' applications. Configure and maintain application services and databases. Test and manage software releases and bug fixes. Work with our clients and other teams to continually improve our service.
