About the role
About the Position: Under the direction of the District Logistics Manager (DLM), Norfolk District's Logistics Delivery Point, you will provide a variety of technical supply support, property accountability, and assistance for all areas of supply management, as required, to all customer elements. You will work closely with Accountable Property Officers (APO), supply managers, and hand receipt holders, located in the Norfolk District, Division, and G4 Millington. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: Applying supply regulations, policies, procedures, and instructions to maintain specialized property accounts and records and resolve a range of supply-related problems; Conducting databases and catalog searches to retrieve technical and specialized supply data or reconstruct records for complex supply transactions; Ensuring the manufacturers, model numbers, serial numbers, authorizations, national stock number and cost are updated and accurate. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06). Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-06).
