Security Specialist

About the role

You will serve as a GG-0080-14 Security Specialist within the NAVAL INTELLIGENCE ACTIVITY, Security and Insider Threat Directorate (N7). As a subject matter expert and Senior Navy Insider Threat Program (InTP) Analyst, you will develop and implement Navy Insider Threat policies, programs, and procedures to prevent, detect, deter, and mitigate threats from insiders that may harm or place at risk Navy personnel, information, or resources. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower grade level (GG/GS-13) or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector, such as: 1. Implement and execute an Insider Threat Program; including analysis and development of strategies, plans, policies, and oversight/compliance and preparing/presenting results both orally and in writing. 2. Partner and coordinate with both internal and external entities to achieve program goals, objectives, and requirements. 3. Develop Plan of Actions and Milestones and other tracking tools to coordinate with stakeholders and track progress. 4. Analyze and integrate technical and non-technical data from a variety of sources to assess and advise on program effectiveness, efficiencies, and resourcing requirements.
