Department/Unit: AMCH - Medical Nutrition Therapy Work Shift: Evening (United States of America) Salary Range: $43,599.00 - $56,679.00 Responsible for the preparation and delivery of infant feedings following sanitary regulations and standards established by regulatory agencies and Albany Medical Center. This position does not have direct contact with patients. Requires at least 1 year of college. Job Responsibilities: Able to understand and interpret infant feeding orders. Able to utilize Timeless (Breastmilk Tracking System) to safely and accurately prepare infant feedings. Follows proper aseptic technique when handling infant feeding products (formula, human milk and human milk products and additives). Able to identify and communicate questions or concerns to appropriate staff members (Nursing, Clinical Dietitians, Providers). Able to perform basic math calculations. Follows patient safety standards during preparation and delivery of formula and breast/donor milk. Operate equipment necessary to successfully prepare and deliver infant feedings. Follows all procedures and processes defined for formula and breast/donor milk preparation. Maintain good organizational skills for formula and breast/donor milk preparation. Responsible for maintaining inventories for all items/products utilized in the prep rooms for the preparation and delivery of formula and breast/donor milk. Completes inventory of products and places orders following the appropriate process. Demonstrates the ability to use effective communication skills with the interdisciplinary team to manage job duties Able to receive products into Timeless accurately and in a timely manner.
