Service Manager

Responsibilities

• Monitor operational and production performance, including labor efficiency and expense control
• Establish and ensure achievement of key performance metrics, including safety, production schedules, quality goals, and budget targets
• Ensure all operational activities comply with established performance standards and company policies
• Develop and execute strategic plans to anticipate business growth opportunities and adapt to technological changes
• Prepare, justify, and manage capital budgets to ensure sound investments and strong return on investment
• Drive and support continuous improvement initiatives across operations
• Hold team members accountable for developing and implementing processes that improve quality, productivity, and efficiency
• Lead employee performance management, including coaching, evaluations, and development planning
• Resolve employee conflicts and foster a positive, high performance work environment
• Promote a strong culture of safety and employee engagement
• Lead daily and weekly production, staffing, and continuous improvement meetings, ensuring clear agendas and actionable outcomes
• Represent the operation in cross functional business meetings and discussions
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in operations, production, or service leadership
• STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• Leadership experience in service operations, refurbishment, or heavy equipment environments
• Experience with JLG equipment, including scissor lifts, boom lifts, and telehandlers
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Demonstrated ability to make sound decisions, solve problems, and analyze data
• Strong organizational and planning skills
• Experience with dispatching processes, technician utilization, and performance management using VOC and KPI metrics
• WORKING CONDITIONS

• This role combines office-based administrative duties with physical activity in production environments.
• In the office setting, tasks may require extended computer use, sitting, and attending meetings.
• Field or floor work may involve walking across various terrains or shop floors, standing, moderate lifting (up to 50 pounds), climbing stairs, and exposure to varying temperatures or noise levels.
• Must be able to shift focus between detailed cognitive work and occasional physical tasks as needed.

• Pay Range:
• $92,600.00 - $154,400.00
