About the role

This position is located in the Office of the Executive Secretary (OES), which serves as the chief administrative and executive office for the Board incident to its statutory functions. The OES is responsible for case-processing activities for cases pending before the Board in unfair labor practice and representation proceedings, including planning and directing judicial management of cases and administration of delegated decision-making authority. Minimum Qualifications Applicant must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-09 grade level which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of a Paralegal Specialist at the GS-11 grade level. Specialized experience includes: Experience drafting, editing, proofreading, or formatting legal decisions, legal correspondence, pleadings, orders, or similar legal documents; and Experience reviewing legal filings or case documents for compliance with procedural requirements, timeliness, formatting standards, or service requirements; and Experience conducting legal research using legal research databases, case management systems, or legal reference materials to analyze and summarize legal information; and Experience utilizing electronic case management systems, legal databases, spreadsheets, or other software applications to track case activity, maintain records, generate reports, or manage legal documentation.
