About the role

Join our Pensions Administration team and play a key role in managing pension schemes for one of the UK's leading universities. The Role The Pensions office deals with the administration of all pension schemes available to employees of the University with approximately 16,000 members across all schemes. It also administers a multi-employer scheme on behalf of 23 Cambridge Colleges and 2 Cambridge University Press Schemes. The Team Leaders support the Pensions Administration Manager and wider team, with the day to day administration of four defined benefit pension arrangements administered in the Pensions Office and liaise with external administrators where necessary. Managing a team of Pension Administrators, the Pensions Administration Team Leader will be responsible for providing a professional, high-quality service to our members, managed through a rolling schedule of objectives and development of the team. Your Skills We're looking for someone with: Previous experience in defined benefit pensions administration. Experience of supervising a team and/or playing a key role in supporting colleague training and development. Payroll experience, to include inputting, checking, and running payrolls. Excellent numeracy skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage workloads effectively. Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
