The Department of Neurology a t the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) , seeks a board certified / board eligible physician to join our expanding Movement Disorders Division . This position is located in Milwaukee , WI We are comprised of nationally and internationally renowned, dedicated group of faculty and staff with a strong commitment to clinical care. Position Highlights: Provide high-quality, patient-centered care for individuals with movement disorders, including Parkinson's disease, dystonia, essential tremor, and atypical parkinsonian syndromes. Perform advanced diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, such as deep brain stimulation (DBS) programming and botulinum toxin injections. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including neurosurgeons, physical therapists, occupational therapists, and speech-language pathologists. Engage in clinical and/or translational research in movement disorders, with opportunities for collaboration within MCW's robust research environment. Participate in clinical trials and investigator-initiated studies, with institutional support for developing an independent research program. Educate and mentor neurology residents, medical students, and movement disorders fellows through lectures, bedside teaching, and hands-on training. Participate in educational initiatives and curriculum development within the Department of Neurology. Performs other duties as assigned by Chair or Chair-Designate. Department/Division Highlights: The Medical College of Wisconsin Department of Neurology is the largest and most comprehensive Neurology group in the state of Wisconsin, with programs in Adult Neurology , Child Neurology , and Neuropsychology with more than 70 faculty. Our adult neurologists, diagnose and treat all neurological conditions including stroke, epilepsy, sleep, neuromuscular diseases, movement disorders including Parkinson disease, dementia, brain tumors, neuro-ophthalmology, and multiple sclerosis, and neuroimmunological disorders. We work closely with our partners in neurosurgery, physical medicine and rehabilitation, psychiatry, radiation oncology, neuro-imaging, pathology, and ophthalmology across our missions of clinical, teaching and research.
