Finance Manager

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• Professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CA, or equivalent) is an advantage.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant finance and accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, taxation, and treasury management.
• Experience in group accounting, consolidation, and intercompany reconciliations.
• Familiarity with accounting systems such as Xero, SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple entities.
• Preferred Experience
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the shipping, ship management, ship broker, chartering, maritime, or related industry.
• Familiar with shipping-related transactions, including charter hire, brokerage commissions, management fees, and vessel operating expenses.
• Experience in multi-entity, multi-currency, and group reporting environments will be highly preferred.

Additional Information

Job Responsibilities Manage the full set of accounts and oversee the month-end and year-end closing process. Prepare accurate monthly management accounts and financial reports. Handle budgeting, cash flow forecasting, treasury, and banking matters. Prepare and review group consolidation, intercompany reconciliations, and related-party transactions. Ensure compliance with Singapore accounting standards, corporate tax, GST (where applicable), CPF, and statutory requirements. Liaise with auditors, tax agents, banks, company secretaries, and regulatory authorities. Monitor financial performance and provide analysis to support business decisions. Establish and improve accounting processes, internal controls, and finance procedures. Supervise and support finance team members.
