Instrumentation & Controls Project Manager, Peoria, AZ - Semiconductor

Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in construction or engineering roles related to instrumentation, controls, and life safety systems.
• Strong working knowledge of PLC, DDC, and low-voltage control systems as they relate to high-tech or industrial facility environments.
• Familiarity with fire alarm and life safety system requirements, testing procedures, and coordination across trades.
• Ability to interpret control schematics, point-to-point diagrams, riser diagrams, device layouts, and P&IDs.
• Experience coordinating with multiple trade partners and field teams in active construction environments.
• Skilled in resolving field constructability issues and collaborating with design professionals on real-time solutions.
• Experience supporting system commissioning, loop checks, and controls device validation preferred.
• Proficient in reviewing and managing redlines, submittals, and turnover documentation.
• Comfortable navigating platforms such as Bluebeam, BIM 360/ACC, and Excel-based tracking tools.

We are seeking a Project Manager for Instrumentation & Controls (I&C) + Life Safety Systems (LSS) to support our growing project execution team in Peoria, AZ. This individual will serve as the technical lead for all I&C and LSS-related scopes, overseeing field execution, trade partner coordination, quality review, and documentation alignment. Local candidates highly preferred. Qualified candidates must be authorized to work in the USA. The I&C Project Manager is a discipline-specific subject matter expert embedded within the execution team. In this role, the I&C + LSS Project Manager will be responsible for providing field-level leadership and technical guidance for all instrumentation, low-voltage control systems, fire alarm, smoke control, and other life safety infrastructure installations. This position serves as the primary interface between the CM team, the General Contractor, trade partners, and the client's technical leads for this scope of work. This is a full-time position for World Wide Professional Solutions.
