We are seeking an Approvals Manager to join the Marketing team and lead compliance across all Olympic Hospitality marketing initiatives. This role is critical in ensuring all materials meet LA28 and International Olympic Committee (IOC) standards, maintaining the integrity of one of the world's most iconic brands.

Responsibilities

  • Submit marketing materials (including copy, web pages, presentations, videos, renders, and other assets) to the International Olympic Committee (IOC) via their extranet platform (TRACK) for validation
  • Liaise with the LA28 Marketing team to ensure alignment, coordination, and internal pre-approvals prior to OCOG and IOC submission
  • Manage follow-ups on modification requests or rejections from the OCOG/IOC, seeking clarification as needed to inform revisions
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to provide real-time updates on submission status, approvals, and required changes
  • Communicate with LA28 and the IOC to provide context and background information to support the review process
  • Ensure all materials adhere to LA28 and IOC brand guidelines, proactively identifying and resolving compliance issues
  • Serve as a key gatekeeper for brand integrity across design and copy, ensuring consistency across all marketing outputs
  • Partner closely with the Head of Marketing Services, Head of Content & Production, Marketing Project Managers, and the broader marketing team to identify upcoming deliverables and prepare submissions accordingly
  • Track and report approval progress through a centralized system, maintaining visibility across all materials under review
  • Develop and manage a clear approvals calendar in coordination with the Head of Content & Production, ensuring alignment with production timelines
  • Support the marketing team as needed, including organizing, filing, and distributing approved materials, as well as assisting with ad hoc requests
  • Other Skills and Abilities
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • 3+ years of experience in approvals, compliance, copywriting, or a related field
  • Comfortable working within brand, legal, and governance frameworks
  • Fluency in English required; additional languages are a plus
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to collaborate across CET, EST, and PST time zones as needed
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to understand broader business and brand implications
  • Experience with collaboration and project management tools such as AirTable, Figma Asana, Slack, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft 365
  • Ideally, has a creative agency background and understands creative processes/worked with creatives before

  • Remote candidates will be considered; however, availability to work within the EST time zone is required.

  • Salary Transparency
  • $90,000 base salary plus a 10% annual bonus opportunity
