Job Summary Medline Industries has an immediate opening for a Sample Room Lead with our Sterile Procedure Tray division. This role will be based out of our Waukegan, IL location and will work 6:30am-2:30pm M-F. Performs assembly operations and images to build non-sterile Prototype of component trays with surgical/medical products by performing the following duties. Prototype represents our final manufactured product and are provided to our Sales Force, Customers and Internal Customers. Job Description Job Responsibilities: Support Sample Room Supervisor by coordinating activities of the Sample Room employees. Assign, monitor and review progress and accuracy of work, direct efforts and provide technical guidance on more complex issues. Provide input into performance reviews. Work with other internal teams to collaborate and improve efficiencies; Master Data, Account Management, Production, warehouse. Compare competitive samples to Medline version. - Respond to issues and questions as needed. Provide needed training to employees. Oversee sample product result. Ensure compliance and consistency with approved procedures and policies. Review 3 packs from each employee daily. Report all non-conformances. Maintain clean/safe work area. Minimum Job Requirements: Education High school diploma or equivalent. Relevant Work Experience Must be able to read and communicate in English. Previous production/manufacturing experience required. Basic math (addition and subtraction) Preferred Job Qualifications: Bachelor's degree. The anticipated salary range for this position: $18.75 - $27.25 Hourly The actual salary will vary based on applicant's location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold. Our benefit package includes health insurance, life and disability, 401(k) contributions, paid time off, etc., for employees working 30 or more hours per week on average. For roles where employees work less than 30 hours per week, benefits include 401(k) contributions, paid time off, as well as access to the Employee Assistance Program, Employee Resource Groups and the Employee Service Corp.
