Art Teacher- Instructor

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver engaging art classes tailored to students of all ages and skill levels to foster artistic growth
• Prepare and maintain a safe, organized studio environment to ensure student safety and smooth class operations
• Assist students in developing artistic skills and techniques through personalized guidance and support
• Collaborate with team members to plan and implement art-related events and workshops that enhance student engagement
• Provide constructive feedback and guidance to help students progress in their artistic journey
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and class attendance for effective tracking and communication
• Preferred competencies and qualifications
• At least 1 year of experience teaching art to diverse age groups, demonstrating ability to engage varied learners
• Proficiency in multiple art mediums such as painting, drawing, and sculpture to deliver versatile instruction
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage and inspire students
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
• Passion for art and commitment to sharing knowledge and skills with others
• Relevant qualifications in art or art education, or a demonstrable portfolio of artistic works
• Availability to commit to weekend teaching schedules
