BIM Designer - Electrical Engineering

About the role

Your Key Responsibilities - We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Electrical Engineer who wants to work closely with Norwegian project teams and contribute to a variety of exciting Norwegian infrastructure projects - Model setup including definitions of ducts and trench sections - Modelling of cable ducts and above-ground electrical installations (including DWG imports) - Setup of export rules and parameters in accordance with project standards - Coordination with other disciplines to ensure integrated project delivery - Participation in BIM coordination meetings - Use of Trimble Connect (or similar platforms) for model sharing and collaboration - Ensure quality and timely delivery in accordance with Norwegian standards and project requirements We Expect That You Have - Bachelor's degree in Civil / Electrical Engineering is mandatory - Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in infrastructure projects (roads, bridges, tunnels, or underground ducting projects) - Hands-on experience in BIM modelling for electrical/infrastructure systems - Strong proficiency in tools like Revit and/or Novapoint - Good command of English with effective communication skills - High level of accuracy and attention to detail in modelling and documentation - Ability to work independently in a digital and geographically distributed environment - Strong teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate in international teams We Appreciate If You Have - Experience working on Norwegian or other European/Nordic projects - Familiarity with Scandinavian standards (considered an advantage but can be learned) At AFRY, we engineer change in everything we do.
